Right before Christmas I was lucky enough to get back to Aspen and play at one of my favorite spots, Escobar. Adventure Club was headlining at the BellyUp and to say the town was buzzing is an understatement. I had a private gig for the town of Aspen earlier that night so I finished up at the Limelight Hotel and rushed over to Esco to get on the decks. The energy and night was a blast and hopefully I can get back there soon. Shout out to the Escobar staff for being the cool people they are and to DJ Naka G for the hook.

Last month, right before Halloween, The Rockslide held a fundraiser for head bartender and friend of many Kohl Marconnet. Kohl was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer, news no one wants to receive. To help Kohl and his family we asked everyone to come out and help raise money for their rising bills. The bartenders donated ALL their tips and the cover charge went directly to Kohl. We were able to raise about $6,000 that night! Wow! So a big THANK YOU to everyone that came out, donated, danced and helped support one of the best  employees, friend, and person around.

Lot’s of things going on these past few months and I haven’t been keeping up with the blog as much as I should be so let me catch you up on a few things. In early August the good people at Redbull teamed up with The Slide to throw a back to school (Colorado Mesa, Stand Up!) party. There was a plethora of Redbull as expected but the turnout and vibe was even better. Dance floor was packed and the bar was in full force, believe the hype.  Looking forward to working with Redbull in the near future.
